Your blog's about food, you demonstrated some interest in the show, she was transparent. Of course she has no way to know how many readers you have right now, but I guess she can tell you're gonna be huge! Or she's impressed by the nice design. I am :) Anyway, reaching out to and trying to start dialogue with a community takes lots of time and she invested, which I respect. She did pretty well, in my opinion.
